Standing Together In Service

Each year I look forward to volunteering during our nation's National Day of Service, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This year I was honored to volunteer at Alexandra House making Valentine's with the women in residence and their children.

Alexandra House’s mission is to empower victims of domestic and sexual violence, and inspire social change through education, support and advocacy.

He Had a Dream

On January 17, 2011, millions throughout the nation will come together to volunteer and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, who never stopped asking the question, "What are you doing for others?" The MLK Day of Service is a moment to work together to fulfill King's vision for a better America - it's a day "on" instead of a day off.

Minnesota Prostate Cancer Coalition

The mission of the MNPCC:
To make Prostate Cancer a key health care priority in the State of Minnesota

After years of planning, networking and perseverance, my dream of forming Minnesota's first Prostate Cancer Coalition, is finally realized!
I am grateful for the support of my mentors-Merel Nissenberg, President, National Alliance for State Prostate Cancer Coalitions (NASPCC) and Jan Marfyak, Chairman-Prostate Cancer Support Association of New Mexico.
Merel & Jan have generously provided me with the necessary tools to form a strong and successful organization focused on Minnesota men and their prostate health.
