Twin Cities Dash For Dad 2011

We had a chilly, but enormously successful race at this years Zero-Dash For Dad 5k Race/Walk.
Over 300 racers, ran and walked in support of prostate cancer awareness, to honor those who's lives have been lost to this disease, and celebrate those who have beaten and continue the battle of the highest diagnosed cancer among men.
Our national sponsor-The Hartford, presented our Twin Cities race with a $10,000 check!
Our Minnesota Prostate Cancer Coalition had an information booth, and my sweet and fabulous assistant/daughter Jasmine, helped from set-up to tear down-this is her 4th race!

Below, I am pictured with Agosto Perez, who has had three bouts with a rare form of cancer, which have resulted in dis articulation of his left hip and the loss of most of his quadricep muscle. He works closely with The Hartford, a founding partner of U.S. Paralympics, helping to positively change public attitudes and perceptions about disability.

Pictured with 3 members of the MNPCC Executive Board and The Hartford Stag.
